About Dave – Founder of The Garbage Bin UK

Hi! I’m Dave, the collector, creator, and chaos-engine behind The Garbage Bin UK and Daveinci Cards.

If you know me from Retroids Arcade Bar or even my Whatnot shows, you already know I’m basically a walking 40 year old Garbage Pail Kid — a sucker for nostalgia, mischief, and bad Dad jokes.

If you’re new here — welcome! Let me introduce myself properly.

🎮 Where It All Started

I’ve collected cards and retro memorabilia for ages. GPK, TCGs, toys, stickers, comics, video games — if it’s collectible, weird, shiny, or completely ridiculous, chances are it’s passed through my hands.

Over time, collecting turned into trading. Trading turned into selling. Selling turned into Daveinci Cards. And eventually, everything evolved into The Garbage Bin UK — a store that reflects one of my hobbies that I'm super passionate about.

I decided to take my collecting one step further with the aim of -

Everything on this site is handled personally by me — from packing orders to writing descriptions to organising live breaks.

No big corporate machine. Just a collector serving collectors. Now, as the owner of an arcade bar and also being a Dad of two wonderful little nippers (aged 5 and 1) as you can imagine - i'm pretty busy but that doesn't detract from my dedication to build -
